Men’s Ministry

The vision of the men’s ministry is to produce a group of men who will be Christ-like in all areas of life. The ministry is open to all men aged 18 and above.

The glorious men hold various activities and meetings throughout the year. These include ‘talk-show’ which is a special programme dedicated to discussing home management. We also have men’s conferences, men’s fitness, prayer meetings and night vigils solely for men.

In addition, we hold monthly informal meetings (held on the last Sunday of each month) simply to admonish one another.

The men’s ministry provides an encouraging community to equip and challenge you to live out your God-given potential on a daily basis.

Women’s Ministry

The vision of the Women’s ministry is to raise women of virtue who influence and transform lives through their God-given authority and wisdom.

The women of the Glory of God Parish, Bristol are extremely close. We hold frequent programmes designed to enrich our personal lives, our homes and our ministries. In our bi-monthly meetings we discuss ways to enrich our marriages, health and other vital issues relating to being a woman. In addition we hold group exercise classes to ensure we are taking care of our bodies as well as our minds. Our quarterly Mother’s Pray Together meeting focuses on praying for our offspring – including those we are still trusting God for.

Single’s Ministry

1 Corinthians 7: 32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord. The singles fellowship of the Glory of God Parish is made up of unmarried adults 19 years old and above. As singles we are not yet burdened with certain responsibilities so we aspire to use this time of being single for the following:

1. To grow and become whole in Christ
2. To learn how to serve God
3. To seek God’s face for one of the most important decisions we will ever make, a life partner
4. To prepare ourselves for the commitment that is marriage

We meet frequently to learn, socialise and bond with each other. We exchange ideas and support one another. We dare to stand out, we dare to be different from the world. We are a chosen generation, called forth to show His excellence. It is our desire to live our lives such that The Lord can look down on us at any time and say “That is my son/daughter, in whom I am well pleased” Our lives must attract others to serve our God…..this is what we aspire to.
